OPC Foundation Announces New Board Member

The OPC Foundation announces the appointment of Dr. Juergen Weinhofer, Rockwell Automation, to the Board of Directors. Dr. Weinhofer was unanimously elected by the OPC Foundation Directors to replace Mr. Kenwood Hall, who resigned his seat after serving on the OPC Board for nearly five years.

In addition to Dr. Weinhofer, the OPC Foundation Board includes: Thomas Burke, President and Executive Director of OPC Foundation and Chairman of the Board; Russ Agrusa, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ICONICS; David Eisner, Chief Engineer and a senior engineering fellow for Honeywell Process Solutions; Thomas Hahn, chief software expert inside Corporate Technology for Siemens AG; Nobuaki Konishi, Vice President, Industrial Automation Systems Business Division of Yokogawa Electric Corporation; and Grant Wilson, Vice President of Technology for Emerson Process Management.
