As an OPC Foundation Member, we would like to use the .NET API to produce products that are sold by us to non OPC Foundation Members who, in turn, incorporate them and sell them to their customers.
1 Are we allowed to distribute the .NET API to our customer?
2. Can our customer then redistribute the API? |

| As an OPC Foundation Member, you are allowed use the .NET API and the OPC Foundation provided sample code to create executable binaries and ship those binaries to your customers (along with the necessary binaries from the OPC Foundation). Your customer (who is not a member of the OPC Foundation) may use those binaries and also redistribute the binaries to their customers. What you are not allowed to distribute is any of the OPC Foundation Source Code, and the .NET API documentation. |
